By Belize Live News Staff: Belizeans can expect another dry and sunny day as mainly fair weather continues to dominate the region, according to the latest forecast issued by the National Meteorological Service this morning at 6:01 AM.
The 24-hour outlook calls for mostly sunny skies during the day and clear to partly cloudy conditions tonight. While the chance for rain is minimal, forecasters say any showers that do pop up will be isolated and brief.
Marine conditions remain calm with easterly winds at 5 to 10 knots and slight seas ranging between 1 to 3 feet. This makes today an ideal day for coastal and seafaring activities.
Temperatures will soar, with highs reaching 94°F (34°C) inland, 90°F (32°C) along the coast, and 80°F (27°C) in the hills. Tonight, expect a mild cooldown to 74°F (23°C) inland, 82°F (28°C) along the coast, and 68°F (20°C) in the hills.
The tropical weather outlook shows no threats to Belize at this time. A low-pressure system near the Florida Panhandle has only a medium chance of development and is expected to remain well north of our area.
Looking ahead to Thursday and Thursday night, fair weather is expected to persist, though there’s a slight uptick in the chance for showers in the extreme south Thursday night.
