Police Commissioner hosts 2nd quarter CompStat meeting

By Belize Live News Staff: Commissioner of Police Dr. A. Richard Rosado convened his 2nd quarter CompStat meeting on Monday at the National Police Training Academy, bringing together top law enforcement leaders to review national crime trends and operational performance.

The session was attended by Minister of Home Affairs and New Growth Industries, Kareem Musa, along with CEO Sharrol Carr, Deputy Commissioners of Police, regional and precinct commanders, and heads of specialized units.

Key topics included crime and performance data review, trend analysis, resource allocation, and operational updates. Commissioner Rosado emphasized that data-driven decision-making is essential to improving transparency, measuring success, and strengthening communication within the department and with the public.

The CompStat meeting forms part of the Belize Police Department’s ongoing strategy to improve accountability and enhance policing outcomes nationwide.
