By Belize Live News Staff: Police have arrested and charged 54-year-old Franklin Gutierrez Euceda for the murder of Carlos Garvin, who was killed in a brutal chopping incident on Saturday night.
Commissioner of Police Dr. Richard Rosado confirmed that Garvin’s body was found near a liquor establishment around 7:28 p.m. with fatal chop wounds to the upper body. Preliminary investigations suggest the dispute may have been over a bicycle.
While investigators have not confirmed whether alcohol was involved, officials say they are exploring all possible motives.
