By Belize Live News Staff: Today’s weather across Belize will feature mostly sunny conditions mixed with a few cloudy intervals, as a relatively moist and mildly unstable easterly airflow continues to dominate.
Forecasters say most areas will remain dry, although a few isolated showers may develop in the north this morning and later over southern regions during the night. These are not expected to bring significant rainfall or pose any immediate weather threats.
Marine interests should note winds from the east to northeast at 10-20 knots, producing seas that will be choppy to moderate, with wave heights of 3 to 6 feet.
The heat will persist across the country with forecast highs reaching 86°F (30°C) on the coast, 89°F (32°C) inland, and 77°F (25°C) over higher terrain. Overnight temperatures will dip to 81°F (27°C) along the coast, 74°F (23°C) inland, and 68°F (20°C) in the hills.
No tropical activity is expected over the next two days, with forecasters confirming no cyclone development in the wider Atlantic basin.
Tomorrow’s outlook brings more of the same, with generally isolated showers or thunderstorms forecast across the country under partly cloudy to cloudy skies.
