By Belize Live News Staff: A dry and steady easterly airflow continues to dominate the region, keeping skies mostly sunny and rainfall minimal across Belize. According to forecaster Catherine Cumberbatch, today will be warm and dry with plenty of sunshine and little to no rainfall expected. By nightfall, skies will be clear to partly cloudy, continuing the trend of stable weather.
Moderate winds from the east at 10 to 20 knots are generating moderate sea conditions, with wave heights ranging between 4 and 6 feet. The heat continues to rise, especially inland, where temperatures are forecast to peak at 96°F. Coastal areas will reach 89°F and cool slightly to 82°F overnight. Conditions in the hills will be more comfortable with daytime highs near 84°F and nighttime lows around 68°F.
Looking ahead to Saturday and Saturday night, similar warm and dry conditions are expected to prevail. Today’s tides include a low at 5:22 AM, a high at 11:31 AM, and another low at 7:19 PM. Tomorrow starts with a high tide at 1:42 AM. The sun rose at 5:20 AM this morning and will set at 6:17 PM. The moon will rise at 10:04 PM tonight after setting at 8:18 AM.
As the dry season continues to hold steady, Belizeans are advised to stay cool, remain hydrated, and take precautions when outdoors for extended periods.
