By Belize Live News Staff: Belize’s weather pattern is gradually stabilizing as airflow becomes less moist and unstable, leading to generally fair weather conditions today. According to the National Meteorological Service, the day will feature cloudy skies with sunny breaks and a chance of isolated showers or light rain, mainly along coastal and offshore areas. As the evening approaches, skies will become partly cloudy and any showers will remain isolated.
Winds are blowing from the north to northeast at 5 to 15 knots, resulting in light chop to choppy seas, with wave heights ranging between 2 and 5 feet. Temperatures will be warm, with coastal areas seeing highs of 87°F and lows of 76°F, inland regions reaching up to 92°F and dipping to 72°F, and the hills remaining cooler with highs of 78°F and lows of 64°F.
The short-term outlook for Tuesday and Tuesday night is for continued fair weather with only isolated showers. Tidal activity today includes a high tide at 9:10 AM, a low tide at 4:39 PM, and another high tide at 10:46 PM. Tomorrow begins with a low tide at 3:48 AM. Sunrise this morning occurred at 5:21 AM and sunset is expected at 6:16 PM. The moon will rise at 6:30 PM this evening and set at 5:46 AM tomorrow.
