By Belize Live News Staff: Thirteen-year-old Jadan Laurence of the Wateva Boyz Football Club is making waves in Belize’s youth football circuit, racking up titles, earning MVP honors, and showing what true dedication looks like.
Playing as a goalkeeper, Jadan has helped lead his team to multiple victories in C.F.A. Under-13 tournaments, and in 2025 alone, he clinched:
1st Place and Best Goalkeeper in the C.F.A. U13 Tournament
1st Place and Best Goalkeeper in the Justice for Laddie Championship
Multiple recognitions for his performance in local marathons and the Mayor’s Cup
But it’s not just about trophies for Jadan. In a letter he wrote, he paid tribute to his family—his mom, dad, siblings—and to the community that helped get him to every game. He also committed himself to one day representing Belize on a national and international level.
“I will use my skills to bring more championships for our beloved club, Wateva Boyz… and one day for our loved beautiful Jewel – Belize,” he stated.
His journey is not just about football. It’s about hope, hard work, and the impact of strong values and community spirit.
