Armed horse theft in Agua Viva: Owner pleads for public’s help

By Belize Live News Staff: A horse theft incident in Agua Viva has triggered a manhunt after two horses were stolen by three individuals, one reportedly armed. The theft occurred late at night, and the owner is now desperately seeking the public’s assistance.

The stolen horses include a distinctive white-and-brown-coated horse, easily recognizable. In an emotional post, the owner, Abner Murillo, explained that these were his two favorite horses, and one was especially dear to his daughter.

To incentivize information, Murillo is offering a $500 cash reward for leads that help recover the horses and a $1,000 reward for any details that lead to the capture of the suspects and the safe return of the animals.

Residents of Agua Viva and surrounding areas are being asked to contact Murillo directly or his caretaker at 669-7785 if they see anything suspicious.
