By Belize Live News Staff: Residents across Belize can expect a mix of sunshine and patchy cloud cover today, with localized rainfall forecast mainly for coastal and southern districts. While most inland communities will stay dry, weather experts say a few scattered showers may develop throughout the day and into the night.
The forecast reflects the moist easterly-northeasterly airflow that continues to influence weather patterns in the region. The southern districts—including parts of Toledo and Stann Creek—could experience some light rain during the evening.
Temperatures will remain comfortably warm, with highs reaching up to 90°F (32°C) inland and 85°F (29°C) along the coast. Overnight lows will dip to the upper 60s and low 70s, offering some relief from the heat.
Sea conditions are expected to range from light chop to choppy, and boaters are advised to be mindful of moderate wave heights and increasing breezes by nightfall.
As the week continues, the forecast holds favorable news for outdoor activities, with isolated showers expected Thursday and generally fair conditions prevailing.
