The incident occurred at the intersection of Bullet Tree Road and Teodocio Ochoa Street, a location known for its heavy traffic and frequent congestion.
According to eyewitnesses, the crash involved a white taxi and a blue pickup truck. The impact was severe enough to flip the taxi onto its roof and into a nearby drain. Video footage shared shortly after the accident shows bystanders rushing to assist, with the injured taxi driver bleeding from the head.
Emergency services responded promptly and transported the driver to the hospital for medical attention. There has been no update yet on his condition. The driver of the blue pickup truck did not appear to be seriously injured, but police are investigating the incident to determine fault and whether any traffic offenses occurred.
