Reimers Feed Mill, a well-known agricultural supply company in Belize, posted a public statement on social media offering to assist the veterinary team treating the injured horse. In their message, the company said they are prepared to provide “necessary products” to aid in the horse’s recovery and urged the public to help them connect with the team on the ground.
“To the veterinary team assisting the abused horse seen in the circulating video: We would like to offer assistance in the form of necessary products,” the post reads. “If anyone has information regarding the whereabouts or contact details of this team, please send us a private message.”
The post has received hundreds of reactions and shares, with Belizeans applauding the company for stepping in where compassion is urgently needed.
The video, which shows the horse being repeatedly chopped in the head, has shocked the nation and led to the detention of three teenagers. Authorities say they are taking the case seriously, and public outrage continues to mount.
