By Belize Live News Staff: A woman is appealing to the public for help after her car vanished from a car wash.
Annie Oyuki stated she dropped off her 2013 Nissan Rogue at Highway Car Wash around 11:30 a.m., expecting it to be dropped off at her workplace by 2 p.m. But when the car failed to arrive, she went to investigate.
“When I arrived, I noticed that my car was not there,” she wrote on Facebook. “One of the workers informed me that someone named Jerome had taken it around midday.”
The vehicle, described as a dark purple Nissan Rogue with license plate C11749, was reported stolen to the police. Oyuki also posted a public appeal in hopes someone might spot the vehicle and report its whereabouts.
