Belize Police set for leadership transition as Dr. Rosado prepares to take command

By Belize Live News Staff: A smooth leadership handover is underway within the Belize Police Department, as the Ministry of Home Affairs initiates a one-month transition period. The goal: to ensure an uninterrupted shift of responsibilities to incoming Commissioner Dr. Anthony R. Rosado.

The Ministry praised outgoing Commissioner Chester Williams for his years of committed service, recognizing the significant contributions he made to national security and police reform.

An official ceremony will mark the formal transition in the coming weeks. The Ministry encourages full support from law enforcement personnel and the public as Belize moves forward in strengthening its policing institutions.
