April enters with heat, haze, and hardly a cloud in sight

Heat dominates Tuesday forecast with brief showers in North and South

By Belize Live News Staff: Belize welcomes the new month with weather that’s tailor-made for sunshine lovers. Skies will be mostly sunny with occasional cloud cover, but showers will be few and far between—if they show up at all.

The inland heat continues to intensify, reaching mid-90s by midday, while coastal communities enjoy slightly cooler but still toasty temperatures around 87°F (31°C). Humidity will linger, so stay hydrated if you’re planning to be outdoors.

The marine forecast calls for moderate sea conditions, with waves building up to 6 feet under the push of sustained E-SE trade winds. Small vessels and recreational craft should stay alert for gusty spells.

The forecast holds steady into midweek, with Wednesday expected to bring more of the same: dry air, strong sunshine, and gusty winds.
