By Belize Live News Staff: As the dry season continues its firm grip on Belize, residents and visitors alike can expect another warm and breezy day under mostly sunny skies. A moderate easterly airflow is driving both the heat inland and stronger marine conditions offshore, prompting the National Meteorological Service to issue a Small Craft Caution.
Today’s highs are forecast to reach 93°F (34°C) inland, making it a scorcher for those working outdoors or away from the sea breeze. Coastal regions will experience highs of 86°F (30°C), while the hills remain relatively cooler at 80°F (27°C).
The breeze, while welcome inland, brings choppy to moderate seas, with waves building between 4 to 6 feet. Those venturing out by boat, especially small craft operators, should proceed with care.
Skies tonight will turn partly cloudy, with isolated showers possible, particularly in coastal regions. The midweek outlook suggests continued fair weather into Wednesday, keeping the dry spell alive for most of Belize.
