Starting her journey in the industry at just 12 years old, she has built Barefoot Services into a leading provider of vehicle rentals, luxury tours, and vacation experiences.
Over the years, Yearwood has expanded Barefoot Services beyond traditional tourism, introducing cave kayaking, bioluminescence tours, and horseback riding along the beaches of Placencia. Her forward-thinking approach has not only enhanced Belize’s adventure tourism offerings but has also attracted visitors seeking unique and immersive experiences.
Beyond her business, Yearwood is a mentor and advocate for youth empowerment, frequently engaging with high school students to promote tourism as a career path. She believes in investing in the next generation, ensuring that young Belizeans see the industry as an opportunity for growth and success.
