By Belize Live News Staff: Belizeans can expect a mix of sun and clouds today as a relatively moist easterly airflow moves across the country. According to the Belize Meteorological Service, a few scattered showers will develop during the day, though they will gradually become isolated by tonight.
Moderate easterly winds at 10-15 knots will keep the sea state choppy, producing waves between 3-5 feet. Mariners are advised to exercise caution in open waters, particularly during periods of increased gusts.
Temperatures will be warm and comfortable, reaching 84°F (29°C) along the coast, 88°F (31°C) inland, and 76°F (24°C) in the hills. Overnight, temperatures will cool slightly, dropping to 77°F (25°C) on the coast, 72°F (22°C) inland, and 65°F (18°C) in hilly areas.
For Tuesday, conditions are expected to remain fair, with only isolated showers in some areas.
Tidal conditions for today include a low tide at 6:55 AM, high tide at 12:39 PM, low tide at 7:42 PM, and high tide at 1:25 AM on Tuesday. The sun will set today at 5:55 PM, while the moon will rise at 10:13 PM.
Forecaster Catherine Cumberbatch advises Belizeans to enjoy today’s warm and mostly dry conditions, as showers will be minimal and sunshine will dominate most of the day.
