By Belize Live News Staff: Concern is mounting for 36-year-old Mason Patnett, who has been reported missing since January 5. His girlfriend filed the report after returning home from an overnight trip to find Patnett gone under troubling circumstances.
According to the report, the front door of her home was ajar, the air conditioning in her bedroom was on, but Patnett was nowhere to be found. Calls to his phone went unanswered and eventually went to voicemail. The police reviewed surveillance footage from the area but found no signs of forced entry or unusual activity.
Family and friends are worried as there has been no trace of Patnett for two days. The police urge anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact them at 922 or 611-4270. Community members are encouraged to remain vigilant and assist in the search for Patnett, who is described as a well-loved member of the community.
