By Belize Live News Staff: The Placencia Humane Society (PHS) will host its annual “Chip Inn & Salsa Fundraiser” on Monday, December 30th, at 2:00 PM at Turtle Inn’s Laughing Fish Beach Bar.
Last year’s event raised over $92,000 BZD, funding shelter improvements, pet care, and critical veterinary services. This year, PHS aims to exceed that amount to purchase an X-ray machine, an ultrasound machine, and establish a mobile clinic.
Tickets are $80 BZD and include a welcome drink, tapas, and a variety of chips and salsas. They can be purchased at several locations in Placencia, but early purchase is encouraged as the event is expected to sell out.
