By Belize Live News Staff: The pleasant weather Belize has enjoyed recently is coming to an end as a surge of moisture brings increased rainfall and thunderstorms across the country.
Today, residents can expect cloudy spells interspersed with isolated showers and thunderstorms. The intensity of the rain is predicted to increase tonight, particularly over southern Belize.
While the rain may dampen some outdoor plans, temperatures will remain warm, with coastal highs of 84°F (29°C) and inland highs of 86°F (30°C).
The outlook for the weekend suggests the wet weather will persist, with showers and isolated thunderstorms expected, mainly in the south.
Boaters and those living in flood-prone areas are advised to stay vigilant and take necessary precautions.
