By Belize Live News Staff: In its latest meeting chaired by Prime Minister John Briceño, Cabinet approved an extension of operational hours for the clearance of cargo at the Belize Western Border at Benque Viejo del Carmen. Once finalized, the new hours will extend from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Additionally, the border will operate daily from 4:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. for passengers and vehicles carrying non-commercial goods. These measures are designed to enhance trade efficiency and ease of travel for individuals crossing the Western Border.
