Mountain Pine Ridge sees another home invasion, suspects at large

By Belize Live News Staff: A woman in Belize City was tied up and robbed at gunpoint while conducting a live video session in her home early Saturday morning, according to police.

The 33-year-old receptionist told police that a masked man entered her room around 1:30 a.m. and pointed a firearm at her. He then tied her hands and feet with a cable and covered her mouth with a cloth.

The intruder stole two iPhones, a Michael Kors watch and bracelet set, an Android phone, a Gucci wallet containing cash and bank cards, and a Belize driver’s license, all valued at $6,812 Belize dollars.

Police said the robber gained entry to the second-floor room by climbing the fence, accessing the roof of the garage, and entering the veranda through an open window.

No arrests have been made.
