Toledo District family conflict leads to stabbing, victim in critical condition

By Belize Live News Staff: A family dispute in Indian Creek Village, Toledo District, turned violent yesterday, resulting in one brother stabbing the other. Reports indicate that Rafelio Coc was stabbed in the chest by his brother, Leo Coc, following a heated argument.

The victim was immediately taken to Punta Gorda Hospital, where his condition was listed as critical. Due to the seriousness of his injuries, preparations were made to transfer him to the Southern Regional Hospital for further treatment.

Authorities have begun an investigation into the incident and are working to uncover more details surrounding the family conflict.
