Opposition Leader Shyne Barrow calls for unity on Belize’s 43rd Independence Day

By Belize Live News Staff: In a heartfelt speech delivered on Belize’s 43rd Independence Day, Leader of the Opposition, Dr. Shyne Barrow, emphasized the importance of national unity.

He called on all Belizeans to put aside political affiliations and focus on building a prosperous future for the nation.

Barrow paid tribute to the nation’s forebears, including George Price and Philip Goldson, highlighting their resilience and patriotism.

“Let us celebrate not just the past, but the future that we are building for Belize,” he urged, reminding citizens that the Belizean dream requires collective action and care for one another.

He concluded with a prayer for continued resilience, ambition, and courage in the fight for a better Belize.
