By Belize Live News Staff: A 29-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident on the Southern Highway near Hopkins Junction on Saturday night, police said.
Cristian Chuc, a resident of Santa Cruz, was thrown from his motorcycle and suffered severe head injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation.
This is the latest in a string of fatal accidents on Belize’s roads. Police are urging motorists to exercise caution and obey traffic laws.
