By Belize Live News Staff: Get ready for a beautiful day in Belize, with mostly sunny skies and a chance of scattered showers, according to the latest forecast from the National Meteorological Service. While the day starts bright and clear, a few clouds might roll in later, bringing the possibility of isolated showers or even a thunderstorm, especially along the southern coast this morning. Inland areas could see some afternoon showers and maybe a rumble of thunder. As the night falls and into tomorrow morning, expect some showers to develop, mainly in the southern part of the country.
If you’re heading out to sea, conditions are looking good with light easterly winds and calm waters. Temperatures are set to climb into the low 90s along the coast and even higher inland.
Meanwhile, the NMS is keeping a close eye on a developing weather system in the western Caribbean. This broad area of low pressure has the potential to become a tropical depression as it slowly moves north over the next week. The NMS is monitoring the situation and will provide updates as needed.
Looking ahead to Monday, expect more of the same: mostly fair weather with the chance of an isolated shower.
Remember, while the forecast is for mostly sunny skies, it’s always a good idea to be prepared for a passing shower, especially if you’re heading inland or to the south.
