Family seeks help in finding missing brother with down syndrome

By Belize Live News Staff: A family in Ladyville is urgently seeking the public’s assistance in locating their beloved brother, who has been missing for over 14 hours. The young man, who has Down syndrome, was last seen leaving home to buy ice for his mother but has not returned since. The family is growing increasingly concerned for his safety.

According to eyewitness reports, a blue vehicle picked him up near the entrance of Hattieville Boom Road, in front of Bull Shop, where he went to purchase ice. The woman driving the vehicle was described as having a clear complexion. The family is pleading with the public to be on the lookout and report any sightings to the nearest police station or to their direct contact numbers: 622-4631, 624-9535, or 610-6094.

He was last seen wearing a black sleeveless shirt, black jersey pants, and a black knapsack. His sister, Nadia Williams, made an emotional plea on social media, explaining that her brother has Down syndrome and that any information leading to his safe return would be greatly appreciated.

The family thanks everyone for their assistance and urges the community to share the missing person’s post to help bring him back home.
