Belmopan accident leaves two American tourists fighting for their lives

By Belize Live News Staff: Baylee O’Brien and Kelsey O’Connor, two American tourists, are in critical condition following a severe head-on collision in Belmopan on September 11th.

O’Brien, who sustained a perforated small intestine, was airlifted to Florida on Sunday for emergency medical treatment, where additional injuries were discovered. O’Connor, still in Belize, is waiting to be transferred to a specialized facility in Texas for further care.

Although both women are now listed as stable, they remain in intensive care as they continue their recovery.

Our hearts go out to O’Brien and O’Connor, along with their families, as they face this challenging ordeal.
