Two killed in separate Belize traffic accidents

Little Belize Mennonite community mourns loss of 10-year-old in Tractor accident

By Belize Live News Staff: Two separate traffic accidents in Belize claimed the lives of two individuals on Saturday morning, casting a somber pall over the nation.

In the first incident, an elderly woman lost her life when the vehicle she was traveling in overturned near Mile 14 on the George Price Highway. The driver of the vehicle sustained injuries and is receiving medical attention.

Separately, a woman tragically died after losing control of her pickup truck near Georgetown, Stann Creek. She succumbed to her injuries despite being rushed to the hospital.

Investigations into both accidents are ongoing.

Authorities urge all drivers to exercise caution and adhere to traffic regulations.
