Ministry of Health leads 'Don't Drink and Drive' campaign for safer roads in Belize

By Belize Live News Staff: The Ministry of Health & Wellness is actively promoting their “Don’t Drink and Drive” campaign, which started last week in Orange Walk and continued today in downtown Belize City. The campaign aims to spread the vital message of safe drinking and responsible partying to help prevent drunk driving, especially during the September Celebrations.

Today’s “Road Information Day” was a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Health & Wellness, the National Drug Abuse Control Council (NDACC) Belize District Office, the Belize Police Department, the Traffic Department, and the Belize City Council. Their combined efforts focus on educating the public about the importance of making smart choices to keep roads safe and ensure everyone gets home safely.

The Ministry calls on everyone to continue supporting and spreading the message of responsible drinking and road safety. Together, the community can make a real difference in reducing drunk driving incidents and enhancing road safety.

The hashtags used to amplify the campaign include: #dontdrinkanddrive #SeptemberCelebrations #roadsafety.
