UNDP appoints Michael Lund as new deputy resident representative for Belize

By Belize Live News Staff: The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has announced the appointment of Michael Lund as its new Deputy Resident Representative (DRR) for Belize, effective Sept. 9, 2024. Lund brings over two decades of experience in international development.

Lund most recently served as President of the Global UNDP/UNFPA/UNOPs/UN Women Staff Association. He also held the role of Policy Specialist for the Crisis and Fragility, Policy and Engagement Team at the UNDP Crisis Bureau.

“I am honored to take on this new role and committed to serving the people and Government of Belize,” Lund said.
