By Belize Live News Staff: Good morning, Belize! It’s another beautiful day in paradise, with mostly sunny skies and a light airflow bringing comfortable conditions across the country. However, don’t let the sunshine fool you completely, as there’s a chance of isolated showers popping up throughout the day and into the night.
Temperatures today will range from a pleasant 90°F (32°C) along the coast to a warmer 95°F (35°C) inland. So, whether you’re enjoying the coastal breeze or exploring the lush interior, be sure to stay hydrated and take breaks in the shade as needed.
While we enjoy this fair weather, it’s important to keep an eye on the tropics. Tropical Storm Francine is currently churning south-southeast of the Mouth of the Rio Grande, and forecasters are also monitoring an area of low pressure in the Central Tropical Atlantic that could develop into a tropical depression.
Looking ahead to Wednesday, expect partly cloudy skies with a higher chance of showers and thunderstorms, especially in the morning and over the southern part of the country.
For those heading out to sea, conditions are favorable today, with light chop and waves reaching up to 4 feet. Winds will be blowing from the east-southeast at 5-15 knots.
Stay tuned to Belize Live News for the latest weather updates throughout the day. Remember, it’s always better to be prepared, so keep an umbrella handy and be mindful of any potential flooding in low-lying areas.
We’ll be back with more news and weather updates soon. Until then, enjoy the sunshine and stay safe, Belize!
