18-year-old loses life in tragic Orange Walk accident

Teen dies in horrific accident after hitting cow while returning from visit with girlfriend

By Belize Live News Staff: The Orange Walk community is mourning the loss of a young life following a devastating road traffic accident last night.

18-year-old Alvin Guardado was brought to the Northern Regional Hospital by ambulance but was pronounced dead on arrival. The young laborer from Blue Creek had sustained severe injuries, including a large open wound to his forehead when he reportedly crashed into a herd of cattle near San Felipe Village, Orange Walk.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident, and a post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
