By Belize Live News Staff: Two men have been charged with the murder of 21-year-old Cory Cruz, whose body was found with severe head injuries in San Ignacio last week, police said on Monday.
Carlton Jimenez, 21, and Etcel Dominguez, 25, were charged late Monday evening following their detention and questioning. A third individual remains in custody.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Hilberto Romero stated that Cruz was known to the police and that the motive for the killing is under investigation.
