Leader of the Opposition meets with NTUCB President to discuss national issues

By Belize Live News Staff: The Leader of the Opposition, Hon. Dr. Shyne Barrow, held a productive breakfast meeting this morning with the President of the National Trade Union Congress of Belize (NTUCB) in Belmopan.

The discussions focused on several matters of national importance, including the ongoing efforts to ensure the Government returns $6.9 million to the public purse and fulfills its promise to build a tertiary hospital on the University of Belize (UB) Campus, as pledged by the Prime Minister in the House of Representatives.

Dr. Barrow emphasized the Opposition’s commitment to working closely with civil society for the betterment of Belize.

“The Opposition will continue to work hand in hand with civil society for the betterment of Belize,” he stated.
