As evening approaches, the southern and coastal areas should brace for a few showers and thunderstorms. The marine forecast indicates relatively calm conditions, with easterly winds blowing at 5-15 knots and slight to light chop on the sea. Waves are anticipated to reach between 1 and 4 feet.
