By Belize Live News Staff: Belizeans can anticipate a blend of sunshine and scattered showers as they navigate through their Friday. The National Meteorological Service has indicated that while the day will kick off with sunny skies, there’s a chance of a few cloudy spells creeping in.
As the day progresses, be prepared for some isolated showers and thunderstorms, particularly if you’re residing inland or in the southern regions of the country. This weather pattern is anticipated to continue into the evening, so keep an umbrella handy if you have any outdoor plans.
On a brighter note, those who enjoy spending time on the water are in luck. Marine conditions are expected to be favorable, with light chop and waves reaching only 2 to 4 feet. The winds will be blowing from the east-northeast at a comfortable 5 to 15 knots.
Temperature-wise, the coast will experience a high of 90°F and a low of 82°F, while those inland can expect slightly warmer conditions, reaching 94°F during the day and dipping to 74°F at night.
The tropics are also offering a bit of a reprieve, with no tropical cyclone formation expected in the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea, or Gulf of Mexico over the next couple of days.
As we head into the weekend, expect a continuation of the partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with the possibility of isolated showers or thunderstorms.
So, whether you’re planning a beach day, a hike, or just relaxing at home, be sure to factor in the possibility of some rain and adjust your plans accordingly. Remember, it’s always better to be prepared!
