By Belize Live News Staff: A brazen armed robbery occurred on Thursday morning at Yam Wits Restaurant on the Hummingbird Highway. Two men entered the establishment in broad daylight, stealing various items, including two cameras. However, they seemingly overlooked the surveillance footage, which captured one of the gunmen looking directly into the camera.
During the robbery, the manager was held at gunpoint while the thieves made off with eight bottles of alcohol, $300 in cash, and a laptop. The police are currently utilizing the surveillance footage in their efforts to identify and apprehend the suspects.
The police are urging anyone with information about the robbery or the suspects to come forward and assist with the investigation.
