By Belize Live News Staff: Belizeans can look forward to a mix of sun and clouds today, with a chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms, particularly in the southern parts of the country.
The National Meteorological Service reports that relatively moist conditions are prevailing across Belize. The forecast for the next 24 hours indicates sunny intervals interspersed with cloudy spells. While showers are expected to be generally isolated, a few more could develop over the southern region.
Temperatures along the coast will range from a pleasant 82°F (28°C) to a warm 88°F (31°C). Inland areas will experience hotter conditions, with highs reaching 94°F (33°C) and lows of 74°F (23°C). In the hills, expect a milder range of 68°F (20°C) to 82°F (28°C).
Marine conditions are favorable for those venturing out to sea, with light and variable winds and slight seas. Waves are expected to be between 1 and 3 feet.
The tropical weather outlook remains calm, with no tropical cyclone formation anticipated in the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea, or Gulf of Mexico over the next 48 hours.
Looking ahead, similar weather conditions are expected to persist into Tuesday and Tuesday night.
