River levels impact tours at popular Belizean archaeological sites

By Belize Live News Staff: The Institute of Archaeology (IA) announced this morning that all water-related tour activities at the Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) Cave and the Nohoch Che’en Archaeological Reserve have resumed following a recent drop in river levels.

Tour guides operating in these areas are urged to exercise caution and remain alert to changing conditions. All other archaeological reserves and cave sites are open to the public.
