The talks, which aim to deepen economic cooperation between Belize and Guatemala, are expected to cover a wide range of sectors including agriculture, energy, and cross-border trade. This visit is seen as a pivotal moment in the ongoing efforts to strengthen ties and foster economic growth between the two neighboring countries.
Prime Minister Briceño is scheduled to return to Belize on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. During his absence, Cordel Hyde, the Minister of Natural Resources, Petroleum, and Mining, will take on the duties of Prime Minister.
