The National Meteorological Service forecasts mostly cloudy conditions with scattered showers, thunderstorms, and periods of rain across the country. This activity is expected to decrease tonight, mainly affecting the coast and southern areas.
Coastal areas can anticipate a high of 86°F and a low of 83°F, while inland regions will see temperatures reaching 92°F and dipping to 74°F. The hills will experience a high of 79°F and a low of 68°F. Marine conditions will feature easterly winds at 5-15 knots and light chop with waves reaching 2-4 feet.
In the Atlantic, Hurricane Ernesto is currently located 150 miles east-northeast of Cape Race, Newfoundland, with maximum sustained winds of 75 mph. It is moving northeast at 36 mph.
