Shooting in Tower Hill Village leaves man hospitalized

By Belize Live News Staff: A 35-year-old man is recovering in the hospital after a shooting incident in Tower Hill Village on Saturday night.

According to police, the victim was walking alone on a street in the village around 10:30 pm when a grey Ford Ranger pickup truck with three occupants approached him. One of the individuals in the truck reportedly fired a pellet gun, hitting the victim in the stomach.

The injured man was rushed to the Northern Regional Hospital for treatment. His condition is currently unknown.

Authorities are investigating the incident and searching for the suspects involved.
