By Belize Live News Staff: Two suspects are in custody following the murder of Mark Francisco in Yarborough, Commissioner of Police Chester Williams announced. The vehicle suspected of being used in the crime has also been recovered.
Commissioner Williams said he is confident charges will be filed soon. “The arrest of these two individuals is a major step forward in bringing justice for Mr. Francisco and his family,” he stated.
The motive remains unclear, but Commissioner Williams said he does not believe Francisco was the intended target. “We are exploring all possible leads,” he added.
The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact the police.
