Belize National Assembly temporarily moves to George Price Centre

By Belize Live News Staff: The National Assembly of Belize has announced its temporary relocation to the George Price Centre on Price Centre Road in St. Matthew, Belmopan. The move is due to renovations being carried out on the National Assembly Building and is expected to last for six weeks, from August 1st to September 13th, 2024.

During this period, the House of Representatives and the Senate will not be holding sessions unless called under special circumstances as outlined in the Standing Orders of both Houses.

While the relocation is underway, the Office of the Clerk will remain operational and can be contacted via email:

Telephone lines will be temporarily unavailable during the transition. The public will be informed when services resume at the George Price Centre.

The National Assembly apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this temporary relocation.
