By Belize Live News Staff: Belizeans can expect a mix of sunshine and clouds today, with the possibility of scattered showers and thunderstorms, particularly in the southern districts. The Belize National Meteorological Service advises residents to be prepared for a shift to cloudier conditions as the day progresses and into the night.
Coastal areas will experience temperatures ranging from 82°F (28°C) to 88°F (31°C), while inland temperatures will peak at 93°F (34°C) before dipping to 74°F (23°C) overnight. Hilly regions will enjoy milder temperatures between 68°F (20°C) and 80°F (27°C).
Mariners should exercise caution due to choppy seas with waves up to 5 feet and moderate east-northeast winds. The good news is that there is no tropical cyclone formation expected in the region over the next 48 hours.
Looking ahead to Wednesday and Wednesday night, partly cloudy skies with isolated showers or thunderstorms are anticipated, with a higher chance of rain in the south.
