Moist and unstable weather continues across Belize

By Belize Live News Staff: Belizeans should be prepared for a mixed bag of weather today as the National Meteorological Service predicts relatively moist and unstable atmospheric conditions across the country. While the sun may peek through at times, expect cloudy intervals and scattered showers, particularly in central and southern areas. These showers are likely to taper off as the evening approaches, leaving partly cloudy skies and a chance of isolated thunderstorms, mainly in the south.

Boaters are advised to exercise caution as easterly winds of 10-15 knots will whip up choppy seas with waves reaching 3 to 5 feet. Temperatures will vary across the country, with coastal regions experiencing a high of 87°F (31°C) and a low of 82°F (28°C). Inland temperatures will climb to 91°F (33°C) and drop to 74°F (23°C), while residents in the hills can anticipate highs of 78°F (26°C) and lows of 68°F (20°C).

Looking ahead, the good news is that no tropical cyclone formation is expected in the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea, or Gulf of Mexico over the next 48 hours. Saturday will bring a mix of sun and clouds with isolated showers or thunderstorms, with a slight increase in shower activity in the south on Saturday night.
