By Belize Live News Staff: Belizeans and tourists alike can expect a mix of sunshine and showers this weekend, with isolated thunderstorms possible across most areas, according to the National Meteorological Service of Belize.
Temperatures will remain warm, reaching highs of 88°F (31°C) along the coast and 92°F (33°C) inland. Humidity may make it feel warmer, so staying hydrated is advised.
Coastal areas should anticipate heavier showers and thunderstorms tonight, while inland regions will likely see less precipitation.
Marine conditions will be choppy, with easterly winds at 10-15 knots and waves reaching 3-5 feet. Boaters and water enthusiasts are urged to exercise caution.
The outlook for Friday is similar, with cloudy skies and scattered showers expected across most of Belize. Shower activity may decrease late Friday evening but could linger in the extreme south.
The National Meteorological Service advises there is no current threat of tropical cyclone formation in the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea, or Gulf of Mexico.
