By Belize Live News: Residents and visitors alike can look forward to a predominantly sunny day in Belize, with a moderate easterly airflow setting the stage for pleasant weather conditions. However, the National Meteorological Service has advised that isolated showers may occur throughout the day.
As we move into the evening and early morning hours, an increase in cloud cover could bring about scattered showers and thunderstorms, particularly in the southern regions and along the coastline.
Mariners can expect calm seas, with easterly winds blowing at 10-15 knots and waves reaching 2-4 feet.
Temperatures will vary across the country, with coastal areas enjoying highs near 89°F (32°C) and lows around 83°F (28°C). Inland regions will experience warmer temperatures, reaching up to 94°F (34°C) during the day and cooling down to 74°F (23°C) at night. Hilly terrains will offer a slightly cooler respite, with highs of 81°F (27°C) and lows of 68°F (20°C).
The National Meteorological Service assures the public that there is no immediate threat of tropical cyclone formation in the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea, or Gulf of Mexico over the next 48 hours.
Looking ahead to Thursday and Thursday night, the forecast predicts cloudy periods with the possibility of scattered showers and thunderstorms, primarily over the southern and coastal regions.
