By Belize Live News Staff: The Belize National Meteorological Service forecasts generally fair weather for today, July 11, 2024. Sunny skies with cloudy spells are expected throughout the day, with isolated showers or thunderstorms possible, particularly in the southern areas overnight.
Marine conditions will see easterly winds at 10-20 knots, creating choppy seas with waves of 3-5 feet. Temperatures along the coast will range from 81°F (27°C) to 88°F (31°C), while inland areas will experience warmer temperatures, with highs reaching 94°F (34°C) and lows of 74°F (23°C). In the hills, temperatures will vary between 68°F (20°C) and 81°F (27°C).
The tropical weather outlook indicates no tropical cyclone formation is expected in the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea, or Gulf of Mexico within the next 48 hours. Similar weather conditions are anticipated for Friday and Friday night.
